Bamboo Flooring

Clip systems for bamboo floors

Why use this system?

The clips are inserted into the side groove of each plank and attached directly to the joists of the substructure, eliminating any visible perforations.

The result guarantees:

  • Uniform spacing between slats

  • Optimal ventilation between parts

  • Protection against moisture and cracks

  • Clean, continuous and professional finish

A system that improves the stability of the whole and prolongs the useful life of the outdoor floor.

Before Installing

Surface

  1. The base should be firm, level, and with an adequate slope for water drainage.
  2. The joists are placed with a maximum spacing of 500 mmrecommended 465 mm for 1860 mm slats — ensuring uniform support along the entire length.
  3. The substructure must be kept at least 80 mm from the ground and never in direct contact with wet surfaces.
  4. It is mandatory to leave perimeter expansion joints between the platform and any wall or fixed obstacle.
  5. Continuous ventilation under the floor must be ensured to prevent moisture build-up and prolong the durability of the system.
  6. The deck must be installed with a minimum slope of 6 mm per meter to facilitate the evacuation of water.

A well-executed substructure is invisible — but it determines everything.

Material

  1. The bamboo slats are installed exclusively with concealed fixing clips and A2 or A4 stainless screws, preserving the visible side of the material intact.
  2. It is recommended to pre-drill the final fixings to avoid cracks or internal tensions in the piece.
  3. The clip system ensures uniform separation between slats, favoring ventilation and allowing natural movement of the bamboo.
  4. The ends of each slat must always rest on a substructure joist, ensuring stability and correct load distribution.

Precise assembly is the basis for a durable floor.
