The Essentials

Tropical wood is a noble and natural material.

Tropical Wood —
Natural. Viva. Unique

Tropical wood is a 100% natural material. Each slat has veins and variations typical of a living material. These characteristics are not defects, but part of their authenticity.

Natural evolution

With sun exposure, the surface can take on a silvery-gray hue. This transformation is aesthetic and does not affect its resistance. Maintenance allows the original tone to be preserved or to let the wood evolve naturally.

Pallet Maintenance

The pallets are exposed to traffic, water and climatic variations.
They require periodic structural and surface care.

Interior structure

  • Accessibility Provide a registration point to facilitate inspections.

  • Ventilation and drainage Ensure the correct evacuation of water and avoid prolonged accumulations.
  • Interior cleaning Keep free of leaves and organic residues.

Outer surface

  • Frequency: Regular cleaning with a soft-bristled brush

  • Washing: Low-pressure water to avoid damaging the fibers

For cases of graying or loss of tone, check out MibaRenew and MibaProtect.

THE FORMULA

MibaProtect

Preventive Care

It reduces discoloration caused by sun exposure, improves weather resistance and prolongs the aesthetic stability of the surface. An annual application is recommended depending on the level of exposure and weather conditions.

Corrective Care

Perform a deep cleaning and, if necessary, a light sanding to remove surface oxidation. Reapply MibaProtect to clean, dry surface to restore its original appearance and renew protection.

MibaRenew
Renew.Recover. Protect

Water-based cleaning gel formulated for tropical woods exposed to the weather. It removes embedded dirt and the gray effect, recovering the original tone of the wood.

Indicated when the surface shows visible wear or loss of color. It is applied directly to the wood and rinsed with water, leaving it ready for new protection.

Conservation Principles

NO HARSH CHEMICALS

No harsh chemicals
Avoid bleaches or strong solvents

96

Controlled Pressure
Never use pressure washers at full power

CONSTANT VENTILATION

Constant Ventilation
Ensure flow of aita under the pallet

STANDING WATER

No standing water
Always facilitate the proper drangling

In the event of localized damage, the slats can be replaced individually without disassembling the entire surface.

Vertical Coatings

Vertical liners require lighter maintenance than pallets. An occasional cleaning with water removes dust, and a regular application of MibaProtect maintains protection. In the event of damage, the panels can be dismantled and replaced individually.
