It allows a fast, aligned and professional installation, optimizing assembly times and guaranteeing a correct natural expansion of tropical wood.

Before Installing

Surface

  1. Clean, dry, level subfloor with humidity ≤ 12%.

  2. Possibility of levelling with mortar, wedges or plots.

  3. Ensure ventilation between the floor and slats.

  4. Minimum slope of 1.5% towards the outside.

  5. Spacing between slats of 4–5 mm.

Material

  1. Acclimatize the slats 48 hours before installation, without direct contact with the ground.

  2. Use specific hardwood tools .

  3. Always drill before screwing.

  4. Use stainless steel screws.

  5. Recommended: grooved slats on stairs or wet areas.

Construction of the substructure with suitable battens and correct separation according to the thickness of the slat.

Identification, cutting and preparation of fasteners for use in installation.
