What we ask for, and when
There is only one place on the whole site where data is requested: when you save a quote in the planner. Two things are asked for there:
- Your email address, which is required. It is the key to getting your quote back, and it is where we send it.
- A name or company, optional, just so the document is in someone’s name.
Alongside that we store the project you drew — dimensions, material and the list of parts — and the IP address it was saved from, used only to stop automated submissions.
Browsing the rest of the site requires no data at all. There is no sign-up, no customer area and no contact form.
What it is used for
For three things and nothing else: keeping your quote so you can come back to it, emailing it to you, and being able to help you if you write asking about it. It is not used to send you advertising or to build any profile, and it is never shared or sold.
The legal basis is your own consent when you press “Make the quote”, and our legitimate interest in answering what you ask us.
How long
A quote is kept for as long as it may be useful to you and at most two years from the last time you touched it. After that it is deleted. If you want it gone sooner, just ask.
Who else sees it
The data is hosted on servers belonging to Hostinger within the European Union, acting as data processor. Nobody else has access.
Cookies
This site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics and no social-media pixels. The planner does store things in your own browser — the project you are drawing, so you do not lose it on reload — but that stays on your device and never reaches us.
Your rights
You may ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, take it elsewhere or object to our processing it. Write to comercial@mibawood.com from the same address you saved the quote with, or to the postal address above. We answer within a month at the latest.
If you believe we have not done it properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
